Research

With 30 years of research experience, Park Nicollet Institute's Health Research Center has a reputation for quality results. We are leaders in clinical, health services and systems studies research, participating in 100 to 200 studies annually. As part of Park Nicollet Health Services’ integrated care system, our work draws upon a multispecialty living laboratory with about 1.8 million patient visits per year at 25 Park Nicollet Clinic locations and Methodist Hospital. 

Research efforts measure the efficiency and effectiveness of care processes and patient satisfaction, and translate the information back to the delivery system for continued improvement and patient benefit.

We also conduct clinical trials to test effectiveness of new treatments and measure safety, cost and overall value for patients. We are a major site for the clinical evaluation of new medications and medical devices.
